For 25 years (and counting!), we’ve been on a mission to build the knowledge and skills kids need to become strong learners in the classroom all the way through life.
Past
Founded in 1999 by a pediatrician, BrainPOP started as a way to explain difficult concepts to young patients.
In 2022, BrainPOP was acquired by KIRKBI, the family-owned holding and investment company of the LEGO® brand.
Present
BrainPOP is a beloved and trusted edtech brand, grounded in research and the science of learning, and has a presence in over two-thirds of U.S. districts and a reach of 25 million students annually.
Future
We’re investing in expanded assessment capabilities and new solutions, including BrainPOP Science—a 2023 SIIA CODiE Award-winning middle school science readiness product.
