New to BrainPOP
BrainPOP Product Release Notes: November 2021
Welcome to our inaugural product release notes entry! Here we’ll share updates on new BrainPOP features that launched recently.
For the past few months, we’ve been focused on helping teachers get more out of our most used features. Top of mind is accelerated learning and helping teachers fill gaps for students across all grades and levels. Many of our features are inspired by feedback from educators and administrators, so please keep those comments coming.
1. Preview Mode in Assignment Builder
Teachers now have the ability to preview features within a BrainPOP Topic while creating assignments for individual students, or their entire class, via the Assignment Builder. The preview button helps teachers easily ensure that BrainPOP Quizzes, Related Reading articles, Movies, and more are a good fit for students before sending them an assignment.
2. Microsoft Immersive Reader Integration
Microsoft Immersive Reader is now integrated in all BrainPOP Quizzes (both the Graded and Review versions) to improve reading and accessibility for all learners, and address the challenges teachers face to support a wide range of student reading abilities across content areas. This inclusive learning tool helps level the playing field with audio and visual scaffolding, decoding support for students with learning differences, language translations, and more. Read the research behind MS Immersive Reader.
